Site Manifesto

Black Women Asian Men United Was Established in 2009 After the shut down of DCAMBW.

The site is currently funded yearly by the Creator.

"We Don't Bring Cultures Together...We Bring Individuals Together to Experience One Another"

-Race is just a is NOT who you are.  So along goes the idea of culture...and once you learn that you can be free of stereotypes...until then you will have to experience yourself through them.

BWAMU Mission

...To encourage, support, and promote interaction between one another...

**the main understanding people must and eventually will get to is...all that matters is YOU as an Individual...and Them as an Individual...everything else is just...excuses...excuses of race, culture, social economic really comes down to who you are, who you display and what type of decisions you make and what you choose to believe in...this is the ideal understanding on Bwamu****

[This is not solely about romantic relationships, (there are many types of REAL relationships, it's about human relationships, interactions, involvement, friendships, and our effect on one another and the individuals we are to the world we live in]

No matter the title of the site, We hold that RACE is one of the most insignificant things about a person.  We understand that race as a artificial label -- and yet another barrier that we must overcome to truly see ourselves and one another.  We do not feed into the common people, media, or social agenda of the elitists which makes race an issue at every turn.  Our paradigm of understanding is beyond that.  We are future minded...and do not perpetuate ideas which leave us stranded in the past.

((We are NOT about bringing cultures together- We are about bringing people ( that is YOU) together, the mission of the site is about bringing out individuals which overcome stereotypes that culture and society creates that really separate us from one another.  We view that culture is not real, it is just a conceptual construct that separates people instead of uniting us.  We break this average thinking by going out and within ourselves, interacting and creating real life experiences that break generalizations and false notions we have about other people.  We don't care if you are rich or poor, the color of your skin tone, what or where you from, all we care is that you be yourself and learn from that...beyond labels, culture classifications, or any box you feel comfortable in...we are here to go beyond those things, and out the box.  This is what makes Bwamu the strongest network overall...this meaning YOU!  The real you inside!  Learn to question everything you know and were taught, overcome the labels from your families, school, and society and find yourself and one another.))

UNITY: Is about tolerance in this view.  To share and be challenged, to experience and debate for the best ideas, and this pain of learning and questioning yourselves, growing by finding out you're wrong or inexperienced in areas is very key to social maturity.   To tough it out and stick around among others you may presently disagree with and focusing on the goal of growing is Unity.  To push ourselves and one another in the INTERACTION within the social process which expands and augments us and others.

What are we doing here?

The focus here is to bring acceptance to ALL inter-racial, inter-cultural relationships, with the main importance of the once (and in many ways still-) taboo connections of Black Women and Asian Men.

Why are we doing this?

We are doing this because there is still racism in the world. There are people that still give unwarranted looks and/or remarks when they would see a Black Woman with an Asian Man in almost any context.

Where, Who, How?

By being a member, YOU are the person who is going to make a difference. You will do it within the locale you are from or going to reside. We are going to do this by connecting, with a deep network of men and women interchanging experiences, helpful hands, and in the public by showing that we all can hang out, have fun, laugh, cry, and be in relations with one another. We present the world with what they might not have encountered before, to open the doors for both curious and serious AM and BW (or any other race open to interracial relationships or socializing) to know that “it’s okay.”

So, we support getting to know others, and allowing yourself to be known by others. We support people making events and inviting their friends –creating a ripple/mark in time …thereby changing the future.

We believe in encouraging real relations between Asian Men and Black Women.

We connect and continue with similar goals, as BW can have a place to express and have shared understanding with other BW and such the same for AM with AM. We are not here to put AM or BW on an uneven plane or pedestal. We focus on connections rather than just one spectrum.

In essence, you are allowed to be who you are. You will be accepted so as long as you are open and honest with yourself and others, you will be fine -and if you are not, well, the site will test inherent self-deception that is usually the reason for not being able to connect.

Enjoy the site. It's your world, do what you will with it –but don’t abuse it.

The point of Bwam is 1) Interaction/Friendships, 2) Self-Expression/Evolution, 3) Self Change/Understanding through Events/Experiences and Eachother.

Please Note: The voice of THE PEOPLE, the membership of BWAMU2 that will rule the day. But if you are found to have a fake account, or double account, your days are numbered -you will be dismissed by the Admins. Any harassment beyond the emotional, physical, spiritual, mental, or relational boundaries of another without consent will be deemed grounds for termination of your profile.  If you wish to appeal, the site email is and I'll research the admins on why you were banned.  (Admins listed on the right.)

***Bwamu is one of the most controversial sites in existence on the subject of Black Women and Asian Men.  The proliferation of FB groups, meetups, and sites were based on the conception of this site.  We weren't first, because we are based off of DCAMBW and thus why Bwamu has the 2 in it's url link.  We are the most open site because we accept that we mimics life's issues.  We are bringing people together (creating friendships, babies, relationships, and good times) that wouldn't have been without the mere being of Bwamu***  So Unity is about tolerance, even when you don't agree we all sit in one place, share, debate and stick it out to find the best ideas, the best in ourselves, and tough it out to become stronger.

***Attention...if you don't like it, delete yourself, come back in a few months like everyone else does (often under a different name/ fake profile) and carry on  OR better yet, go add on to the other 50 or so FB AMBW groups just because you don't like Bwamu, it's been done 50 or so times with a couple of successful groups!****

May you find friendship, and may you find love if you are searching for it...and overall, may you find yourself in this adventure.

Age Limit: 17

NO, we aren't shutting down- BWAMU FOREVER!

WE are no longer asking for donations or help unless you personally want to.  I asked and made it mandatory for the first two years because I couldn't handle it alone while going to school.  Thank you to all those who have helped in the past, and as you see, the site is still here, kicking and running even after all the naysayers and conspiracy theorists.  Enjoy the site, it's yours.

You can donate through paypal but it's NOT MANDATORY (through the Send Payment option) to

[[ Be sure to include the email, username you use, and the date to help me datebase the information. ]]

* This is a social network; however, the age requirement is now 17+

* No nude profile pics please -leave that stuff on your personal albums, do what you want with your page, and if you want to do things that are questionable, privatize your albums. [Please inform an admin to remove open nude material by inboxing a link to the material.]  Try your best to keep questionable material in the appropriate groups for those who use the site at work.  If you are going to post something questionable on the forum, don't make it activate or show without clicking a link and warn that the media may be of a questionable nature.

* If you get into a dispute, first try to handle it yourself, directly, if you can't or wont, then come to one of the administrators so we can either mediate, or suggest actions. Banning someone should be the last option, and I have added the "suspend" option to the site, but we are human and adults, we can learn and change our perspective.

*I am highly aware that not all people are here for actual full fledged relationships, so if you are about that, just keep it upfront with each other.  No need to lie and create mini-dramas on the site or leave due to being misled.  We are attempting to bring people together, not pull them apart.

*Be yourself, express yourself, tolerate others, and get to know yourself and others in the process. You can't get along with someone you don't understand or come to know. (Basic spiritual, philosophical lesson here!)  But if you get off on negative energy, go around harassing people and have personal issues that need to be resolved, let's not do that on the public basis.  Personal Issues are NOT site issues, so don't make it one.  Go seek professional help.

**Try not to take pictures of people in the chat, or steal their pics on the site please. If a normal member asks you not to reply to them, just respect them and their choice. We are not all going to get along.

***NEW Probelms? Contact me directly in the inbox or the website email.

Inboxes are open!

Our Mission (Tenative)

[[If the button above gives you and error or problems, do a "send payment" to from your paypal. PAYMENT DUE TO NING EARLY AUGUST, SO JUNE 30TH OF EACH YEAR IS THE DEADLINE.]]

***To support, encourage, & promote interaction between Asian Men & Black Women.

***To be tolerant of all views of all members on this site.m (Suffering and disagreements are part of life people.)

***Respect all religious, spiritual, and agnostic views of it's members.

***To be more accepting than exclusive, yet hold the right to remove those that harm others.

*Freedom of speech, thought, and heart are placed if they are based on the foundation of truth and don't injure others (in the defined form of physical, proprietorial, or financial harm). Debate, heated or otherwise are allowed, for it is the persons involved that must deal with the emotional or mental "suffering," if any.

****P.S. Learn how to take a joke, and identify the intent of the people which you are talking to.  You are responsible for yourself, your own responses, reactions, and giving power to yourself and others over you.  Be accountable, don't play victim all the time.  These are still people, some people are up front, others hide behind their profiles.  Don't make personal issues site issues, if you take off your clothes on skype or in real life and bicker about it on Bwamu...guess what, it's a personal issue.  Grow up.

***All that is needed for membership is the support of the movement, and active participation by all!

If you would like to see certain changes or want to try out to be an admin...write out in bullet text what can be changed, policies, and or site enhancements.  Then write a short essay on what you think the site mission is and how we get there.
