Yes getting out of your norm, opens up alot more chance meets.. Working oneself should always be a priority. As far as 30+ it is what it is, everyone grows older, part of the process of life. As you get older its not necessarily not being tech savy, more responsibility in life, families, careers, etc... So that has to be taken in consideration in this group.. also the level of communication is different, than perhaps than groups more gear to a younger age group. Never the less, every time I read the conversation I always find great dialogue and good insight from all aspects. Just my thoughts..

I'm really grateful for all your insights because at some point we lose focus and develop tunnel vision when it come to ourselves. Listening to what other people do gives me motivation to step outside of my norm :)

i go out and do different things.. stuff that you are not so comfortable doing. For example i took up dance class, which kind of help me break out of that zone.

when you start narrowing things down you start cutting your own strings..  you never know you might meet someone at your neigbourhood karate school

I wouldn't limit my self by ethnic groups, my limitations would be on compatibility, stability and other more important thing.

But to be fair I've not been single in my 30's

Finding someone when you're over 30 is hard enough as it is but when you narrow your focus to a specific group of individuals, it gets even harder. So how do you guys handle it?

***To support, encourage, & promote interaction between Asian Men & Black Women.

***To be tolerant of all views of all members on this site.m (Suffering and disagreements are part of life people.)

***Respect all religious, spiritual, and agnostic views of it's members.

***To be more accepting than exclusive, yet hold the right to remove those that harm others.

*Freedom of speech, thought, and heart are placed if they are based on the foundation of truth and don't injure others (in the defined form of physical, proprietorial, or financial harm). Debate, heated or otherwise are allowed, for it is the persons involved that must deal with the emotional or mental "suffering," if any.

****P.S. Learn how to take a joke, and identify the intent of the people which you are talking to.  You are responsible for yourself, your own responses, reactions, and giving power to yourself and others over you.  Be accountable, don't play victim all the time.  These are still people, some people are up front, others hide behind their profiles.  Don't make personal issues site issues, if you take off your clothes on skype or in real life and bicker about it on Bwamu...guess what, it's a personal issue.  Grow up.

***All that is needed for membership is the support of the movement, and active participation by all!
