Hello new to the site I am actually learning the  Korean language with my friend on the weekends. It does take some adjustment but your mind does gasp the meaning to the symbols you see on the tv screen and cd covers soon enough.

I love Korea because I always felt safe there.  Everyone was kind, the culture was great. I had expectations of people looking at me weird and things like that but none of that happened.  I felt welcomed and it was great.  The beach, beautiful!  Street food, delicious! People, great! Best country I have visited so far.  I don't watch a lot of K-dramas, I listen to some K-pop .. The food though is so good!  I was fortunate enough to stay with a friend and meet their parents.  The homemade food I had everyday while visiting was amazing!! All my favorites were on the table every day.  So kind!  I made sure to get good gifts for the family because I felt so honored they would even let me stay there.
