Hi,  I used to weight 118lbs before i start hitting the gym and I'm 6'0. So you could imagine how skinny I was. Right now I'm around 175lbs.. I'm pretty happy where I am. What first motivated me to work out is because no girls wanted to go out with me. Well that what I thought in my head. Maybe at that time I had low self esteem. I did got tease being that size. Hey Only 1 Laterria if you eat tomato's they help cut bloating so eat that daily also you can do a shot of apple cider vinegar to help your metabolism and makes your body more alkaline even though it's a type of acid. It all comes down to diet. The stomach is always a trouble spot. run for 45 mins every morning as soon as you wake up on an empty stomach. That will help burn calories from stored fats. Do research on making your body alkaline. That will help also. it's to much to type.

hey i'm not new to the site, but new to the group. i use to weight about 200lbs, two years ago, i was a diabetic and i was dealing with depression. i didn't go out and i just sat at home and ate alot. but all it took was for my diabetes to make my health somewhat bad. and my doctors told me i had to work on losing my weight so i did. 

now i weight about 159, and have been maintaining my weight for a couple of months now. i go to the gym on my days off, and sometimes after i go to work. and its done me some wonders. but i still need flatten my stomach, i need ways to flatten it more. i am working on tightening my arms and thighs. but i just need ways to flatten my stomach more.

;) Hello! I'm doing my summer thing now, I was up to a 5K (weekdays), but now I've slacked off and working back up to a 3K.

My body is sort of like this already, hourglass, I'm just bigger on top though. Does anyone know of any good workouts for your thighs? I don't want to loose my curves but I like the muscular look minus the bulk.

What is 'Blolates? Hope I spelled that correctly... I'm interested to know.

For something quick, and works super fast, try 'Callanetics'; it's a series of isometric exercises and if done correctly quick results, your form has to be correct though, or my favorite <3 Belly Dancing.

Has anyone tied P90X, Insanity or what was the other one? Darn I don't recall o_O

Anyone into martial arts? I use to take Judo, I miss it; I need to get back to it or some other form, good for discipline and to de-stress. Any suggestions? I do practice my kicks which I also did for dancing as well. I too would also LOVE to have a workout partner it makes the time go by faster and you get it done. Always much better to have a partner, because you have to be accountable to someone.

When in doubt I turn to music as a motivator, I like all types especially fast tempo depending on the workout I'm doing. also if you are aline the music will definitely keep you going or try listening to self motivating tracks to stay FOCUSED!

Sorry, i just joinned this site & im having trouble posting my pictures. I started being health conscious this year. I was 185, now im 167-165 depends on water weight ect. Im trying to get my body fat down to 18%. Fyi im going to barbados in sept. Im 5"9. I try to eat 80-120g of protein a day & cal around 1500-1800 dependson if i work out that day. Need tips im at a plateau.

I wanna fck wit yall. I use to be a Muay Thai Fighter and did MMA. I went from 225lbs at 5"5 lifting to when I use to fight at 145lbs. It was a lot of hard work but I did on 4 separate occasions. I'm at 200lbs but I'm tired of lifting and want to get back to fighting. I tore my acl when I was 21 and it didn't stop me from matches. You just need to build the muscles around the knee. Like your ass, quads, calves, stomach, and lower back. I went down to 200lbs and I want to get back to 145lbs. You all motivated me. This is a bad ass group. I teach martial arts and I have nutritionists and personal trainers at my disposal if you have any questions feel free to ask. between dieting a majority of my life on and off and having been able to train with some awesome ppl I would love to share info. Please keep me updated with everyone's stats. It would be awesome to see where we are all at three months from now.

Hi my names tae I'm new here so this is another group I have joined, sadly I'm not as athletic and active as I used due to an accident that I've been recovering for about a year now T.T (I had to have ACL surgery) T.T so sad but I have slowly and gradually improving and the more time goes by the more I can do so I can get back to some of things I love the most like basketball T.T but in 3 more long months I should be back to normal ^ ^ I pray and hope so

After I got out of the Navy, I gained a significant amount of weight. But  since December 2012 I have gone from 189 down to 144! All healthy weight loss....I go to the gym now 6 days a week and I stay for a minimum of 2.5 hours-3 hrs. I am 5'9 and was not this healthy while serving in the Navy. I feel better and would encourage anyone to do it for their health...it's worth it.
