Why Asian men? Why not an Asian man? I am Cherokee, Choctaw, Scottish and Ethiopian, but I also have family members who are mixed with other nationalities. Race isn't an issue for me. My father's best friend was Asian and he learned and used to speak to us in Korean. I enjoyed listening to him and wanted to learn the language just to be able to have a conversation with him. I've also been fortunate to work with some incredibly thoughtful and kind Asian men. I know that society and cultural differences can make it difficult to forge relationships of any kind, but I think we all deserve an opportunity to experience the goodness that can be had by getting to know each other. Asian men are really cool, even the shy and nerdy guys are great. I want to know them. After all, this is why I'm here. Sorry for writing a book.

Why Asian men? that's a good question. It's just something about them that shines through over the rest. I love their physical features and their culture (mostly Japanese). I love their beliefs and how they are just so much more open minded about certain things that other kinds of men are typically judgemental over. They seem to be more gentle and kind, as well. I know that in every race, there are all types of guys, but I think I'd have the most patience with an Asian guy, haha. I always get picked on because when someone says they really like Asian men, I guess it's kind of taboo, but to me, it's not different than hearing girls say they like country boys or whatever they're into.

It isn't an issue for my family since we're from the West Indies. Both my mother and father are mixed with White, Black, Carib Indian, East Indian, and Chinese. So dating outside of my so call race is accepted as normal.

It all started when I was young and would sneak downstairs to watch the late night voiced over kung fu movies.... no it was earlier than that.... I went to school with Asian or Asian-descent kids for as long as I could remember. Mid-teens I started realizing I had a pattern;  I liked a boy cause I liked him, not cause of his ethnicity, or so I thought. I admit that I fell victim to the "tiny-dick" stereotype and so mentally blocked them out as potentials but subconsciously.....I was a goner. My longest and strongest crushes in my teen years 'til now have been on some Asian or Asian-descent guy. If you asked me 100 times what I liked about Asian men, the answer would vary every time.

It's funny I sort of wrote a post on this moments ago lol
I joined because after going on my first ever date with a guy who happened to be Taiwanese, it got me thinking "what do asian men think about black women when they look at us?" Anyways, I found his boyish charm and honesty refreshing and the fact through the many candid conversations I found we had a lot in common. Which was eye opening to me. being filled with stereotypes and skepticism made me think that it would be impossible to be with someone who is of asian decent was quickly dispelled with that experience. He was indeed a super nice guy who treated me very well even when we stopped hanging out it was cool. I wish him the best.

It's funny dating interracially wasn't anything new to me but I still had those narrow minded views. (Crazy).
