"Thanks for the link drop Kouhai. I'd never heard of of MAL. This is perfect because there's lots of anime i started and didnt finish or plan to start and didn't have a chance to. I like how you can keep track of it all."

Kells replied to Amber's discussion Love with your ears not with your eyes
"Why, thank you :) IMO, the only reason I say falling in love via voice is possible, is because, I'm thinking of my experiences with LDR's back in the day. In my younger years, I was a LA-LA Land Space Cadet who meant well, but lived in a…"

Kells replied to Amber's discussion Love with your ears not with your eyes
"If we had no sight and had to love based on what we hear, human nature would find something to pre-judge, prefer or discriminate in the voices and vibes of others. The brain's need to categorize would still be there. Love still wouldn't be…"

Kells replied to Rahiyma Burch's discussion Which is harder?
"There were 2 instances in my life where people have died, and I spent more time expressing my love for them in death more than when they were alive. Since then, I waste no time telling someone I love them. Whether the feeling is mutual or not…"

Kells replied to Kay's discussion long distance relationship?????
"Been there. Done that. Not really interested in it. I have to admit though, during times in my life when I wasn't as confident as I could be, I'd hide behind LDR's. I can't fathom a LDR now. I bartend, so I have more fun with…"

Kells replied to Ebony Symone's discussion Which do you relate to more?
"Guys. I grew up with my dad and 3 brothers, so I've always related to guys more; although sisterhood is important. I'm trying to rebuild my sister circle now, to be honest."

What are you looking for on this site? Be specific about your motive/purpose, in terms of what you want to look for, in one or two sentences, even if you're unsure of / new to this. Explain at your best.
I've been away from the ambw community for a number of years (used to be admin of a blasian site), and want to possibly make new friends and meet like minds.
AMBW has exploded since I've been away and I want to see who's who and what's what nowadays.
......I wanna sit at the cool kid's table again.
We would like you to tell your Asian Male and/or your Black female friends about the site, would you help us find cool people who would support interracial interaction? Please explain.
Honestly, the only people I know who are interested in ambw are 2 friends I met years ago on an ambw site; I hope to meet more people IRL who know about it. If and when I meet up with like minds, I'd be glad to share links.
How do you feel about having a complete Egotistical Wise Ass as a site Creator/Administrator??? ;)
Lol Wise ass is okay.
Egotistical? We're gonna have to have a sit down about that :)

Are you Adult enough to handle a site with those who you are not in agreement with? Do you understand that you may be offended because you have a different perspective than someone else's and vice versa? Can you handle that friendships, situationships, and relationships don't always work out. Are you aware that this is the internet and not everyone is genuine? Finally, will you IMMEDIATELY read the READ ME ( section of the site before beginning your adventure on Bwamu? Once you read it, type the last sentence into the answer for approval.
I Do. Let the church say 'Amen'

Our Mission (Tenative)

***To support, encourage, & promote interaction between Asian Men & Black Women.

***To be tolerant of all views of all members on this site.m (Suffering and disagreements are part of life people.)

***Respect all religious, spiritual, and agnostic views of it's members.

***To be more accepting than exclusive, yet hold the right to remove those that harm others.

*Freedom of speech, thought, and heart are placed if they are based on the foundation of truth and don't injure others (in the defined form of physical, proprietorial, or financial harm). Debate, heated or otherwise are allowed, for it is the persons involved that must deal with the emotional or mental "suffering," if any.

****P.S. Learn how to take a joke, and identify the intent of the people which you are talking to.  You are responsible for yourself, your own responses, reactions, and giving power to yourself and others over you.  Be accountable, don't play victim all the time.  These are still people, some people are up front, others hide behind their profiles.  Don't make personal issues site issues, if you take off your clothes on skype or in real life and bicker about it on Bwamu...guess what, it's a personal issue.  Grow up.

***All that is needed for membership is the support of the movement, and active participation by all!

If you would like to see certain changes or want to try out to be an admin...write out in bullet text what can be changed, policies, and or site enhancements.  Then write a short essay on what you think the site mission is and how we get there.
