I said Hiragana(ひらがな平仮名) but I don't mind your starting with Katakana(カタカナ片仮名). Katakana is usually used to write non-Japanese words. And also learning Katakana helps you familiarize yourself with Kanji(かんじ漢字) since it is made out of a part of Kanji. I will reply to your Intro to Ebonics: Day 2 (1/4) when I have more time.

I have to make an assessment before you start your Japanese lesson. It seems that you haven't mastered Hiragana, Katakana and Kanji yet, right? It is a good idea to master Hiragana and its pronunciation first so that you can write/read simple Japanese.

I have a good idea about mastering Japanese(Immersion Method). It is efficient and reasonable. It doesn't have to be painstaking if you are TRULY smart. I was STUPID with my English study and I have learnt it through my failure. I will let you know more little by little.

1.READ LOUD!!

2.ALWAYS MEMORIZE!!--Never think about grammatical analysis for now. We can do it at times only to understand the structure of the language, NOT to acquire the virtual ability of its fluent speaker.

If you can agree with me, let's start from a basic level. Otherwise please feel free to ask me if you have any open question/disagreement.

We should understand the nature of our mind. Structural analysis is knowledge--conscious effort of understanding. You don't need this for now unless you want to become an academic linguist, right? What you want now is automatic, unconscious yet practical fluency of Japanese--different kind of knowledge. In order to gain this ability, FORGET GRAMMAR FOR NOW(we can do it later). JUST MEMORIZE LIKE A BABY.

1.おはよう。Good morning! 2.こんにち-は。Good afternoon! 3.こんばん-は。Good evening! 4.きみ-いくつ?How old are you? 5.とし-は-いくつ?How old are you? 6.はたち-だ-よ。I am 20 years old. 7.この-ほん-いくら?How much is this book? 8.ひゃくえん。It is Hyaku Yen. 9.にほんご-は-かんたん。Japanese is easy. 10.ゆうげん-は-むずかしい。Yugen is difficult.

I am also a shy coward who is fearful of the unlucky unsuccessful consequences. We are all cowards who only try to protect our unworthy false pride. We are all vulnerable human beings. But don't worry, you are not alone. However, life is a series of challenges and adventures. Only a brave can take the first step forward and enjoy the fruits of life after many fearless attempts. Let's become a brave together.

Hiragana(平仮名) and katakana(片仮名) are easy but kanji(漢字) is not. Kanjis are originally pictographs(象形文字). Several bushu(部首) parts are assembled into a kanji and each bushu has its own meaning as a unit. Thus the various parts blend into a harmonious whole as a kanji to create a new meaning. It is a "very efficient and effective way" to master kanjis "by memorizing about 200 bushus first." Actually 100 busshus are good enough for daily life unless you want to become a kanji scholar. You will never regret if you act on my advice. And also you can save a lot of time. However Most Japanese teachers are so stupid that they don't adopt this learning method at their own kanji class. Beware of it!

It reminds me of how I let you slip away

I stand and pace

As I do when it comes to confronting you

My heart ails knowing how I care for you

Yet... I will not tell you

Being a Christian Black Woman

Posted on September 23, 2013 at 1:00am 0 Comments

Well, I haven't post a blog in a long time. But I feel like it now. Well, as you can see in the title I'm a Christian, and serious about it. I'm not really on this site looking for an Asian boyfriend, really friends, but if that friendship would turn to romance it would be cool. I just wonder sometimes though. Are there any Asian Christians? I don't care what nationality or race. Because I would really like to fellowship. I'm not a hit it or quit it chick. I'm a woman. I don't come on here…

“Hey Auntie Jonesy.” said Chingé mildly.

“Dat you Ching?!” asked Auntie Jonesy. “Ahhhhhhh!”

She goes and hugs her nephew. She hugged him a little too hard though because he was gasping for air in the mist of the hug.

“What’s wrong nephew?!” asked Auntie Jonesy as she hugged him.

“..I ..can’t.. breathe.” said Chingé as he struggled for air.

She releases him.

“Oh, sorry.”…

I Am Kinda Shy

Guys, (if you all even observe this) and girls I'm writing this as I post this. This is for you my asian men, but it could actrually be for everybody.

You're right

perhap I am too shy

The way I avoid eye contact when I really wanna look

Everytime I do that I ask myself why

Why? Why don't I flirt?

If not with my mouth, with my eyes

Maybe I could give him a sign

Saying I love the arc in his eyes toward the side

But doubt…

Our Mission (Tenative)

***To support, encourage, & promote interaction between Asian Men & Black Women.

***To be tolerant of all views of all members on this site.m (Suffering and disagreements are part of life people.)

***Respect all religious, spiritual, and agnostic views of it's members.

***To be more accepting than exclusive, yet hold the right to remove those that harm others.

*Freedom of speech, thought, and heart are placed highly...as if they are based on the foundation of truth and don't injure others (in the defined form of physical, proprietorial, or financial harm). Debate, heated or otherwise are allowed, for it is the persons involved that must deal with the emotional or mental "suffering," if any.

****P.S. Learn how to take a joke, and identify the intent of the people which you are talking to.  You are responsible for yourself, your own responses, reactions, and giving power to yourself and others over you.  Be accountable, don't play victim all the time.  These are still people, some people are up front, others hide behind their profiles.  Don't make personal issues site issues, if you take off your clothes on skype or in real life and bicker about it on Bwamu...guess what, it's a personal issue.  Grow up.

***All that is needed for membership is the support of the movement, and active participation by all!
