To support, encourage, & promote interaction between Asian Men & Black Women.
I could write a novel on all the things I was told to look out for when I went to Korea. There are SO MANY videos out there that tell you "how it really is" in South Korea - and I believed a lot of it. Here's the thing - I didn't just believe it because so many people said it, I believed it because it seemed to mirror what I had experienced. I knew I was going to be there for a while so I joined some websites to try and make friends and more while I was there. I got a lot of responses from guys who just wanted to hook up, or "ride the black horse" as one video said. Sure the same thing can and does happen here, guys say all the time "I've never been with a Black girl" or "I've never dated a Black chick" something like that. My favorite question is "do you like ...guys?" to which my answer is always "I don't care what the race of the person is, it's their manners and the respect they show that matters" and then I stop talking to that person haha. The same thing happened when I was staying in Seoul. So the fact is, guys are guys no matter where they are from. Fiction is out there EVERYWHERE about what xyz guys are like what xyz girls are like. Everyone is going to have personal experiences that support both fact and fiction. My question to all of you is what have you heard about Asian men/Black women, what are your personal experiences?
